Testcomplete 15 can't detect my files from my legacy framemwork

We have switched to Testcomplete 15 recently, and our tests started to failed. The framework was build 3-4 years ago for Desktop application with Python. I have tried to add them as items, but it does not work. I am wondering if someone else also had the same issue?
