TestComplete 11.20 (Mobile Testing) is very slow

Hello Everyone,

 

I have recently installed the plugins for the Mobile Testing on "TC-11.20" for an Android device. It can recognize the objects and its properties and also runs the Tests.

 

But it is incredibly slow for example to find a button and to click on it takes 1-2 mins. Does any face the same problem with TC-11.20..?? Is there any solution for this issue..?

 

It is a very basic Test project with 2 Test scenarios.

 

Application type : Android Application

Device                : Samsung Tab S2.

 

Steps Performed.

 

Installed the drivers for the device.

Instrumented the Application.

Installed TestComplete Android Agent on the device.

Installed Latest Java on the System.

Turned of Image capture in Visualizer.

Reduced delay between the events.

    Yes, Mobile module is rather slow. Version 11.31 is the fastest to the moment (dramatically slower than Web Module, but significantly faster than v.11.20). Try to upgrade TC.

        Hi 

          Suggest you to unload the modules that you do not need and run only with Android/iOS modules. have seen this issue go away on 11.31.240+

    Using test complete latest version 12.2 .Taking a lot of time to find a button and click on it.This issue is found in deep linked URLs.However the tool is fast wrt native screens.Please advice.

      Please describe what method are you using to find the controls?
