Hello,
One of our customers faced a similar issue. He turned out that it was related to some secure Microsoft updates. These ones:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/security/ms15-009.aspx
Please check if these updates were installed for IE 11 on your problematic computer. If they are, try removing them and check if it helps.
If this doesn't help, please submit a support case to our Support Team via this form - http://support.smartbear.com/product-list/
Tanya,
We're using TC 10.30.1145.7 along with IE 11 and the latest patches. TC is crashing when accessing BIRT report items. Does the IE 11 problem affect versions other than 10.6, and if so, is a patch available?

Hi,
Our team has turned out that an IE crash can occur when testing JavaFX applets in TestComplete. The cause of the issue is related to some MS updates.
If IE crashes when testing html-based pages in your case, please contact our Support team to try to resolve the issue. To help them better understand what is going on, please perform the following steps:
At first, please try disabling the Loosely-Coupled Internet Explorer (LCIE) feature in Internet Explorer if you have not done this yet. You can learn how to do this from the "Disabling Multiple Processes of Internet Explorer" section of the "Preparing Internet Explorer for Web Testing" help topic: http://smartbear.com/viewarticle/57287/
If this doesn't help, please follow the steps below to collect the information about the IE crash:
1. Run the Report Generator tool located in <TestComplete>\Bin\ReportGenerator.exe.
2. Select the "Launch/attach to TestComplete" option.
3. Run another instance of the Report Generator tool.
4. Select the "Track application launch" option, specify your application executable name, check the "Track multiple launches of the application" box, click Next, and launch the tested application. The Report Generator tool will track all events in it.
5. Reproduce the problem.
6. Click the "Generate memory dump" button in each of the Report Generator instances three times with a 5-second delay between the clicks.
7. Click the "Generate..." button in all instances of the Report Generator tool and save reports to a local folder.
8. Send the reports, as well as the description of the issue to our Support team: http://support.smartbear.com/product-list/Thanks in advance.
