Test Complete 12 version takes long time to come out or struck when it doesn't find an object.

Hi,

I upgraded the TestComplete recently to 12. I see that it takes too long to come out and looks like it is struck before it gets activated again. This issue didn't happen with Test Complete 10.

 

Can you please suggest if there is any configuration I am missing here.

    How many log files do you have currently stored for your project? IIRC, one of the other posts up here had a similar complaint and it turned out that they had a LOT of old logs that, when they loaded a project, it needed to load all those logs.

      ok, So far i didn't have any restriction in number of logs it saves. I changed it to store last 30 logs now. I have 4 projects and 30 logs each.
