Telerik support

Hi    Just trying to evaluate test complete. But when I try to select individual elements in a webpage it will only select the entire page. The webpage is coded using Telerik. Is there anyway to...

    Hi,

      Do you have the required plugin installed "Telerik Web Control Support plugin." Also can you provide the following details

     

    1. Screenshot of the Properties & Methods available for the web page in advanced view mode.

    2. The technology the webpage is developed is it Silverlight / ASP.Net/ CEF based.

     

    Incase of a Silverlight based application please make sure the xap file is compiled using the testComplete tcAgPatcher.exe .

Generally, TestComplete supports Telerik controls.  As to why selection is selecting the whole page, that I don't know.

While I don't recommend keeping the results of a recording long term, have you tried doing a simple recording against your application to see how TestComplete interacts with it?
