TE9 fails to start from AutomatedQA.script on Windows 8
Hi,
I open TextExecute 9 project from custom application using RunTest() method from AutomatedQA.TstComplete.Connect class.
I successfully used this approach with previous TestExecute versions on all supported OS and started using it with TextExecute 9.
Unfortunately TextExecute project fails to start on Windows 8 with Exception "Cannot create ActiveX component."
I use AutomatedQA.script library v. 9.0.1312.0 and AutomatedQA.TestComplete.CSConnectedApp library v. 9.0.1312.0.
I can open TestExecute project manually on that computer (double click on suite file).
Do you have any idea how to make it working?
Thanks,
Vadim

Hello Vadim,
This is a known problem with TestComplete 9.0 under Windows 8. It should be fixed in the next TestComplete update.
