If TestComplete starts slowing down or otherwise misbehaving (like it quits recognizing the application that I'm working with even though I've been testing all day on the same thing), I usually have to close it down and restart it.
Sometimes I have to restart TestComplete and the application under test, and if things are really messy, I will just shut down everything and reboot the computer.
I have found that it will also help if you don't have a lot of other applications running at the same time that you are working with TestComplete. - heidi_nRegular ContributorThanks, I restarted TC and my tested app, and closed down all unneccessary applications, but didn't see a difference. I will try restarting my computer.
Hi Heidi,
Refer to the Automated Test Performance Tips article - it contains useful tips that you can try.- heidi_nRegular ContributorHi Tanya,
I need visaulizer images to be turned on - however, can I reduce the number of frames that are taken? For example, instead of capturing all frames, can I have it capture 50% of frames, etc.?
What about logs? Can I have TC only save my 3 most recent logs instead of all of them?
