TC1010 serious namemapping issues
Hi
I have a couple of serious issues with the way namemapping works in TC1010.
I use the object spy to select an item on screen. I then right-click in the properties window and select Map Object. Then I get a window asking me to map the item automatically, or manually. I always map manually, is there a way to make this choice once and for all, so I don't have to click this extra window?
If the item I'm mapping has unmapped parents, a dialog appears telling me this. As soon as my mouse enters the dialog it dissappears, it's sent behind the main TC1010 window. I have to alt+tab to show it again, and then carefully move the mouse onto the Yes button, without touching the main listview. This is really annoying! This happens on a Windows7 machine.
When I finally get to close the dialog, and have mapped my item I'm back at the objectspy. The field "MappedName" is empty, despite that I just mapped the item. If I right-click and choose Show Object in Namemapping editor, I get an error message telling me that the item is not mapped or mapped incorrectly. But I just mapped it...
This is pretty close to being a show-stopper for me, as our test-suite relies heavily on namemapping, and manually updating namemapping.
Please let me know if you need any more information, or screendumps to investigate these issues.
