Regular expressions in Find method

Hi,

Can someone clarify whether or not regular expressions can be used in Find/FindChild methods?

In some forum topics it says that only * can be used

while this link https://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/78426/ says that regexp can be used.

Is this information for different TC versions? It doesn't seem to specify any particular version in these links

I'm using TC 10.6
