Recording applications through VNC Viewer or Remote Desktop

Hi,



Is it possible to record applications that exists on a virtual image using TestComplete?



The scenario is,



I have my application installed and running on a Virtual Image/any other workstation.

Now I would like to access the machine using a Remote Desktop or VNC viewer.



Can I use Testcomplete tool to record the appliation opened on the VNC Viewer/Remote Desktop'd machine?

    Hi Sarma,



    Yes, this is possible if TestComplete is installed on this virtual machine.

    Otherwise, TestComplete will record only coordinate-based clicks because VNC/RDP provide nothing but pixel-based picture to the client.
