Basically, any testable object in TestComplete has the FindChild and FindAllChildren methods on it. So, if you can get to a parent object that you are looking to investigate it and you want to retrieve all the child objects of that parent that match a certain set of properties, you can use "FindAllChildren". If you want to find a specific one, use FindChild. Step one is getting to the parent object and you can do that any number of ways. But the FindChild/FindAllChildren might be your better solution here.
Yup... cardObject is either null or the object returned does not support the FindAllChildren method (which, if it's a recognized object in TC, it should).
Drop a breakpoint on your assignment within the while loop and see what the value of cardObject is.
