Hi Maria,
It looks like TC was executed in the compatibility mode or from a shell application that runs in the compatibility mode.
Please make sure that the compatibility options (right-click the application, select "Properties > Compatibility") are disabled for the TC executable file ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Automated QA\TestComplete 8\Bin\TestComplete.exe") and run TC by typing the following command in the Run dialog:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Automated QA\TestComplete 8\Bin\TestComplete.exe"Does this solve the issue?
