    Hi Linda,

TestComplete can be installed on the Windows systems only - http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/28975/

However, if the tested application is a kind of service application that responds to the http requests, then it can be executed on the OSes you've mentioned and queried from TestComplete running under Windows.

    Hi Alexei

I am not sure whether our application responses to Http requestes or not.

Actually, I need to do automation of our product Installer Wizard, which can be installed in multiple OSes. Let's suppose it response to Http requestes, how to do that? Could you give me some detail suggestion?
  • Hi Linda,

You cannot automate the installation process of your application in unsupported operating systems using TestComplete. Sorry.
