Hej,
to open MHT files in Edge, you need to use IE Mode in Edge, because Edge itself does not natively support the MHT file format.

Try this method. It least works for me.
In the address bar for Edge type edge://settings/defaultbrowser
Toggle "Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer" to on.
Restart Edge.
Open yout mht file again.
For now the page will be still blank.
Click the three dots in the upper right corner.
Select "Reload in Internet Explorer Mode"
You now should see the contents of the mht file.

In order for Edge to open MHT files you may need to configure the following;
- Open Microsoft Edge on Windows 10.
- Click the Settings and More (ellipsis) button on the top-right corner.
- Select the Settings option.
- Click on Default browser.
- Under the “Internet Explorer compatibility” section, turn on the “Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode” toggle switch.
- Click the Restart button.
If that doesn't work, then do an internet search for possible solutions - it's an issue with Edge and your OS.
