Hi,
You can use free third-party .NET and Java libraries such as PDFBox or iText for your needs. You can call them from your tests via TestComplete's CLR Bridge and Java Bridge.

Ann- Another alternative is to install the Foxit PDF reader. A simple Ctrl-6 keystroke will display the document as plain text in a normal text edit window.
