External table is not in the expected format Error for .xls files

Hi, When using .xls file with DDT.ExcelDriver, qwe are getting an error "External table is not in the expected format". Can anybody provide any woraround for this? Thanks

No the xls file is not encrypted with password and is not saved as xlsx.

this is a file downloaded from server.
