Does the DDT.ExcelDriver require Excel to be installed?
I have a project that I have run on my PC for a while now. The project relies on DDT.ExcelDriver. I want to move the test to a virtual box. Due to our IT policy I can't install Excel on the virtual box. I don't want to re-write my code to remove the dependancy on Excel. Can TestCompete still use the DDT.ExcelDriver to get data if Excel is not loaded on the same machine?
On computers without Excel, you need to install the free Microsoft Access Database Engine:

ExcelDriver needs the 32-bit version (AccessRuntime_x86_en-us.exe) and not the 64-bit version.
