I didnot need to get the string value already displayed in cxMemo. I need to display a string to the cxMemo.
Anyway, I found the function that I need Lines.Insert (position, string).
The Lines property returns the TStrings which contains the list of strings displayed by the component. So use the Lines property of the tcxMemo object.

I have tried "Lines.Insert (position, string)" but I won't able to write. I just wanted to know "Position" means what exactly. it is a positions of character or line ??

Position is the line number. It starts at 0. cxMemo only works if Position is correctly computed, i.e., they have to be consective number (0,1,2,3,....). If for some reason your computation missed a line number such as 0,1,2,4,... then you won't see your data on the Memo.
