contrlolling RAM usage using Testcomplete



Hi

    

    I am using Testcomplete 8.50.

    I am using Intel i3 processor, 4GB RAM

    

    I want to limit my RAM memory to 1GB using Testcomplete.



    Please help me in this regard

    Hi,



    Can you clarify what exact help you need? TC has no functionality which would allow you to "limit RAM", and it is unclear how your post is related to TC.

    Hi

       My PC has 4 GB RAM. I want to automate my product using testcomplete. As my RAM is 4 GB my product is working fine on my PC. The same product  when i tested on another computer(which has 1GB RAM) my product got hanged. So i want to test my product on my PC for different values of RAM (512MB, 1 GB, 2GB, 3GB,4GB). So i want to limit the size of my RAM for these values using TestComplete.



    Please help me in this regards

    I think your best bet in this case is to look into using virtual machines to simulate the different hardware environments.  As far as I know, there's no way through TestComplete to say "simulate an environment with only 1 GB of RAM".
