Comparison of PDF files with TestComplete.

Hi all,I need to compare two PDF files, ignoring an especific term. I'd already tried with DiffDoc, but it's not free (I want a free software to make this). TestComplete has some native functionality to make comparisons?Thanks!Everson Alex JohanssonFlorianópolis, SC, Brasil

Hi Everson,TestComplete provides you with special features for comparing images, files, properties of the needed objects, and so on. These features are called checkpoints. For more information on the available checkpoints, please refer to the Checkpoints section in TestComplete's online help.As for comparing PDF files, you can use any of the approaches mentioned in the Can I use TestComplete to compare PDF files? FAQ entry.BTW, if you are interested in trying TestComplete for free, you can easily download a trial version from our site. I hope this information helps :)

I am trying to compare pdfs and need to verify the following:

-Number of pages in the file,

-Font of text should be same and

-Picture, should be same but can be bit off position in the file.
