Can we downgrade a floating license for TC10.40 to TC10.30 as the latest TC does not support ODT

Hi There,



After deploying TestComplete 10.40 with floating license I was surprised to see that following features are not supported:

Manual testing

Object-driven testing (ODT)

ActiveX Objects

In that case we would like to move back to  version 10.30. So my question is :-

Will my floating license for v10.40 would work with v10.30 ? Or more directly - Do i need to pay again you guys for not supporting ODT in TC 10.40

    The lack of ODT is related to TestComplete 10.40, not the license you're using.  The same TestComplete 10 license is used to run TestComplete 10.40, 10,30, 10.20, etc.

    I would suggest that you refer your questions to the Customer Care team.


    As for unsupported plug-ings, I know that it's possible to request the plug-ins you used to work with for TC 10.4.
