Bug tracking using bugzilla

Hi ,



I have a query regarding bugzilla.I open bugs in bugzilla and not from test complete issue tracking sytem.Can we link those open bugs with my tests in test complete so that we can keep a track of the failure history?

    Hi Sumedha,

    Yes, you can link TestComplete tests to bugs in Bugzilla. To link it manually, just add it as an attachment via the Bugzilla front-end interface.

    Moreover, from TestComplete, you can establish a connection to the Bugzilla DB and create new bug items directly from TestComplete's logs or tests. In this case, the related test would be automatically linked to the bug description. See Working With Issue-Tracking Systems for detailed info.
