How to strategize a load test in Soap UI
Hi,
I am learning to use SoapUI as a performance testing tool. I have seen the different strategies available in SoapUI for the load test e.g. Simple, Burst, Variance, Thread etc.
My requirement is to ramp up the number of threads to 200 and then run the test scenario for about a minute and then ramp it down. Which is the best strategy to be used for this?
If your suggestion is to use customized script for this, can somebody help me with creating the script for the same?
Also, I ran a simple load test with 50 threads, delay 1000 and random 0.5 for 60 seconds. But, the actual cnt of the executed test case shows 2262 in the report. So, can we assume that 2262 "users" actually executed the test case? I am confused as 50 threads menas 50 users executing the test case. Please guide.
