Cannot run test case and no UI show

Hello,

The default setting for loadUI is to run in distributed mode, meaning that TestCases will not run unless assigned to a remote agent. You can change this mode from the Agent inspector, which is located in the bottom "System" panel. When in "Local" mode, components in a TestCase should run just as if there were located in the Project level. For a TestCase to run when in distributed mode you need to connect to one or more loadUI agents, and you also need to assign the TestCase to at least one of these. I can run the test case now! but most of the test steps are returned false in table log. Only the step Properties run True, others like REST step are false.
Attached u may find the screen captures (systemlog.jpg and agent.jpg)
Those test steps are running successfully in SoapUI 3.6 Pro.

I wonder if the load agent setting does not correct as I am using localhost.
Way I set is
> In Workspace screen, drag out an agent
> Type https://localhost:8443 to be Agent URL (create_agent.JPG)
> (a pop up come out said "No Agent detected at specified address, add anyway?")
> Press OK

I was trying to set the whole environment up based on the steps from the link provided but unluckily still cannot success.
Or would you have other manual or tutorial that I can follow?

hmm.. could you try attaching the second-from-right output of the soapUI Runner to a separate tablelog to get more detailed error information so we can try to figure out what is going wrong?

Im not quite sure about what is second-from-right output.
cos there was total 3 images uploaded and they are showing one by one in the forum page.

But I guess you are referring to the table log to be saved in a separate file.

thx! Judging from the log contents there are two problems;
- the port used by loadUI to communicate with its agents seems to be taken by some other process on your computer
- the keystore specified in the soapUI settings is failing to initialize, which could explain your failing requests; are you relying on client certificates of some kind?

after i turn off the distributed agent (see the screen shot in older post), it looked the 1st problem solved.
but for the 2nd question, yes. there is keytore set on setting page while running test script on soapUI.
how can i do this in loadUI? using version: loadUI 1.0.2-SNAPSHOT

hmm... instead of specifying the keystore at the global level in soapUI, I wonder if you could try the following;

1) Open the Project window for your soapUI project
2) Go to the Security Settings tab and add your keystore here as a certificate
3) Go to the request(s) requiring the keystore and select the added certificate for the "keystore" setting in the bottom left list of properties for each TestStep
4) Make sure your TestCase works in soapUI
5) Save your project and try running the TestCase in loadUI

Does that work any better?
