The default setting for loadUI is to run in distributed mode, meaning that TestCases will not run unless assigned to a remote agent. You can change this mode from the Agent inspector, which is located in the bottom "System" panel. When in "Local" mode, components in a TestCase should run just as if there were located in the Project level. For a TestCase to run when in distributed mode you need to connect to one or more loadUI agents, and you also need to assign the TestCase to at least one of these.
