Feature Request: Have an actual Test Run UI
Hi I thought I'd throw this out here because I appreciate your support and know you care about your customers.
In the Test Cases area, I've found it to be not very ideal as a tester when I need to run (manual) tests. This is because there is not really a test run UI. For instance, I have grouped my tests together (in a folder, let's say) and am ready to run my tests. I have to click on the "Edit this record" icon of a test case to run the test. Most test applications will have a UI which is separate from the edit screen when running tests. For example, a window will pop up with the tests to run and only the fields (comments, status etc) that you need to update. Of course I would appreciate a way to edit while testing if needed, but having to go into edit mode of a test while testing is cumbersome and may cause auditing issues if these test cases have been peer reviewed.
Obviously, I can use this the way it is and realize that while testing I can click to the next test case which makes it faster... but I'd really like to have a test run UI here.
Thoughts?
