Is it possible to upload attachment to test execution via API?

Hi everyone,

As a team, we send our test results, which is generated as junit xml format, via this endpoint (https://support.smartbear.com/zephyr-scale-cloud/api-docs/#tag/Automations/operation/createJUnitExecutions). Test case and execution creation work as expected. However, we need to send attachments to test execution, especially for failed test cases, to analyse our test results efficiently. When we check api document (https://support.smartbear.com/zephyr-scale-cloud/api-docs/#section/Introduction), we could not find any solution to upload attachment to test executions.

Is there any solution which is planned as future work or done currently?

Best,

Thank you very much, I'm anxious for the TM4JC-I-269 idea delivery.

Do you already have a deadline? I´d remembered it was for the Q4.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

You might find that this has been raised in the past and is under consideration.  You can search and vote for ideas for the Server version here.

      Hi MisterB,

It seems that this idea, https://zephyr-scale-cloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/TM4JC-I-269  ,will solve our current problem. And, it is already voted and waiting the release, thank you for reply 🙂

Yes it's because SmartBear are moving their ideas portal onto a new service, and the old one has been shut down.  I believe the new one is being released in the new year.

    Hi Claudio

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that.  I don't actually work for SmartBear - I'm a user of the system🙂

    Best, Andy
