“Create Issue” view is unreadable: raw wiki syntax, # instead of headings, {panel} visible

Hello,

I’m facing a very annoying issue with the text fields in the Create Issue window when Zephyr is installed.

In the description or summary fields, the content is not rendered properly:

• Headings appear as # instead of formatted titles
• Panels and macros show {panel}, {panel:bgColor=#ddebf7} instead of a styled block
• All wiki formatting stays completely raw
• And I have to click the preview icon every time to see the proper formatting… which makes writing extremely unpleasant

The annoying part is that everything looks correct only after the issue is created, or if I manually open the preview mode.

❓ My question

How can I make Jira / Zephyr automatically render the wiki/markdown formatting during issue creation, without needing to click the preview button?

Or, to put it another way:

➡️ Is there a way to enable automatic rendering of wiki/markdown in text fields in the Create Issue window?
➡️ Is there a Jira setting, a Zephyr configuration, or a Marketplace plugin that fixes this “raw wiki text” view?
