After migrating to cloud test executions are not under test cycle
Hello, Recently we are migrating from server to cloud with Zephyr squad, however we came across a strange situation. Below is the test case screenshot where we are able to see the test execution in Jan 2023 Malaysia Test cycle, however we are unable to see the same test executions in cycle summary under test cycle, however if we change the status of the test execution in test case it was automatically reflecting under test cycle. We need to see the test executions under test cycles as it was showing in on on-prem before migration. I have provided all the screenshots. please let us know your inputs
While migrating Zephyr Scale from Jira Software to Jira Cloud using JCMA, the progress remains 17%
Hi, I've tried to use the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) with all projects in "testing stage" mode. The progress of migrating the Zephyr Scale remains at 17% after 3 days. But if I tried to migrate just one project, the migration progress of the Zephyr Scale was 100% but the status showed "INCOMPLETE", and I found the values in some fields of test cases become null. However, it has values in the Jira Software Server version. Could you please help me check it out? Thanks, Jason
Zephyr Scale Data on Free Trial Period
Good day, we are currently using the free trial version of Zephyr Scale as we are trying to propose its use for TM tool. Just wondering what will happen to the test cases, attachments, history and reports made and generated during the free trial version, after the free trial version date ends. Will the data still be accessible for download? This is to create a Proof Of Concept for Zephyr scale as part of our proposal. I'm in the process of migrating from TestLink to Zephyr Scale and have encountered a challenge that I'm hoping to get some advice on. In TestLink, we have extensively used attachments for our test cases, and all these attachments are stored on our server. As we transition to the Zephyr Scale, I want to ensure that we can bring these attachments over without losing any critical data. Could anyone guide me on how to add attachments to the Zephyr Scale, especially when they are stored on a server? Is there a direct way to upload these attachments in bulk, or will I need to go through a manual process? Any tips on automating this process or tools that could facilitate the migration would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, if there are any best practices or considerations to keep in mind during this process, I would love to hear about those as well. The goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible, ensuring that all our test cases in the Zephyr Scale have the necessary attachments linked, just like in TestLink.
Zephyr Scale test case attachment API
I am currently working on helping migrate test cases from one test case management system to Zephyr Scale. I noticed while looking over the API documentation there does not seem to be a way for us to programmatically upload attachments to test cases. Is there something I am missing or another way that I could possibly accomplish this? I did find this same questions at the below link but it seems there was no answer on that. Migrate from Zephyr Scale to Zephyr Squad
Hi All, Currently we are using Zephyr Scale and would like to move to Zephyr Squad. Could any of you please suggest the best option and how to go about with it? We are in the process of migrating from JIRA server to JIRA cloud ; our license for JIRA server and Zephyr for JIRA server have both expired, but we don't want to renew as we are about to migrate to the cloud - we would like to migrate our Zephyr data over using JCMA - but the Zephyr portion of the migration doesn't get kicked off and we are told we'd need to request a free trial in order to allow the Zephyr migration to work. Hi everybody, Currently, we have chosen to change the Xray application cloud from the Zephyr Scale cloud and we need to migrate the XRay data cloud to the Zephyr Scale cloud because we need to maintain the Tests history. Does anyone know how to do this? Could anyone give me a tip, please?
