TestComplete and TestExecute License Utility Manager
I'm a new administrator for TestExecute and TestComplete. We have TestComplete installed and working, as well as the License Manager Utility. Can TestExecute use the same License Manager Utility or does it require a separate LMU on a different server? TIA!

Hi, I am a product manager of Continues Delivery Director (https://cddirector.io/) (AKA "CDD"). CDD orchestrate the continuous delivery release pipeline from development to production, and this includes deployment management, tests run, approval gates, dependencies, and much more. One of our advanced modules is the "Adaptive Testing" - CDD interface with testing frameworks (e.g. SoapAPI) and can advise to the customers which test to run for a specific build, in order to save the full regression for every run. The interface with the testing tools is done via plugins, and we have a long list of plugins that we developed. Our customer asked us to develop a plugin for ReadyAPI, so he can run the tests from CDD (and expand usage of the tests to other groups). The problem is that we are facing, that in order to develop the plugin, we need to have aReadyAPI license that uses the license server (same as our customer is using). I would like to know if there is an option to get a licensefor the plugin development only. This license won't be used to test our software or solution. All we need is to test our plugin to see that it can execute a few tests. Thank you very much!

Gitlab CI/CD license issue
Hi, I am running my project in Gitlab. But the error comes ofr license not found and please enter the absolute path. Also, in the smart bear community, its mentioned that if you get an error using maven, specify the absolute path but where we have to specify, is not mentioned. Deactivate soapui pro license silently
Much like silent installation of a license for SoapUI pro, i couldn't see silent deactivate ofthe license option in ready-api-license-manager. Does anyone know of an option to do so? Or Could it have been left out intentionally by SmartBear?:smileyfrustrated: Appreciate your time /Mohan

If I buy a TestComplete Floating/NodeLocked license .. for how long it will be valid ? If SmarBear launches new version of testcomplete .. in that case how much I need to pay for upgradation or I can use the same license ?

we have a mixture of floating licenses so do we need to install them on separate license servers?
We have a mixture of floating licensessome platform with web module licenses and some platform with web and desktop licenses. I want to be sure the ones that have desktop are available for the people who need those licenses. Do we need to install on separate servers for this to happen? I'm concerned it is first come first serve and someone with web enabled willtie up one of the licenses that has desktop.Will the simple act of only having the add-in selected with desktop and web make sure that they are the only ones to get to pick up those floating licenses? Or is it if we have more than our allotted platform/web log in they will grab one of the licenses with desktop even though they don't have it enabled?

QAComplete - maximum logins per project
Hi, We currently have a number of teams using our on-prem instance of QAComplete. We have concurrent licenses, however some teams end up using all the licenses, stopping other teams from logging in to work on their projects. It would be useful if we could set the maximum concurrent logins per project. Thanks, Brian

How to deny all users to request a access to the License Server, EXCEPT for a specific user?
Hi there.I've been searching onthe community forums about this matter, but i couldn't find anything that suits my situation. Here it is: Actually we have a physical machine running the licensing server utility, controling just one Floating License on it. On our network, we have more than 500computers. How am i suppose to allow access only for 3 computers to request licensing information from that physical machine, and deny all others requests from the other machines? I've tried to put on the Configuration > Users (_int_/config_users.html) the 3 computers, but when i click on submit, this is added automatically on the end of the list: allow=all@all How to proceed on this case? :/ Thanks for any advance on this issue, folks.
