ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Microsoft.SharePoint.exe process crashed intermittently Yes, my TestComplete and the tested application are not referring to anything related to the SharePoint, also the OneDrive is not started. I'm using the TestComplete 14.93.312.7 and the tests are running on a local machine. Re: Microsoft.SharePoint.exe process crashed intermittently Hi, The SharePoint doesn't use/call while testing my tested application. So, I have no idea why it starts running and then crashed. Also, it should be not a background application, isn't? Microsoft.SharePoint.exe process crashed intermittently Hi. TheMicrosoft.SharePoint.exe process crashed intermittently while running several project suites on my tested application. It happened intermittently on different time, different spots while running my project suites. Previously it won't occurred then it does after I done some changes on my tested application. The crash events doesn't affect my running test cases also the tested application. I had referred this topic but the upgrading Windows doesn't help since my Windows 10 is the latest version. Then, forUsing TestComplete Debug Services, it only apply on my tested application but not theMicrosoft.SharePoint.exe, isn't? Is there any idea how the crash been triggered and caught by TestComplete? Re: How To Set Auto-Wait Time Out More Than 1,000,000ms Hirraghvani, Thanks for the reply. I tried your method and I encountered an issue which is even though the object exists but it is not focused, then the while loop still keep running due to can't find the object. Do you experience this? Re: How To Set Auto-Wait Time Out More Than 1,000,000ms If using this method, would the test log will show The object "..." does not exist. error? Sorry that I not yet try on the WaitNNN method as I tried the Do While method as below: LoopCount = 0 do while not (Aliases.Object.VisibleOnScreen) If LoopCount < 10 Then Delay(5000) LoopCount=LoopCount+1 End If Loop I will get theThe object "..." does not exist.error while every time it entered the while loop. Can I hide the error from showing in the test log? Re: How To Set Auto-Wait Time Out More Than 1,000,000ms The time out is shared among different test cases. For example I got 10 test cases and the object will appear in 10 different timing between 15 to 25 minutes. So, I will use a 30 minutes time out to wait for the object to appear on screen instead of set 10 different time outs for each of the test case. Re: How To Set Auto-Wait Time Out More Than 1,000,000ms HiMarsha_R, Thanks for the reply. For the suggestion of usingWaitNNN, this method hardcoded the waiting time and it doesn't suit for my cases. The reason why I need a longer time out is I want to let the time out to be shared among different test cases and use it to cater all the cases, because the object has different appear timing. How To Set Auto-Wait Time Out More Than 1,000,000ms Hi all, I have some test cases which required to set the auto-wait time out more than 1,000,000 ms and I found that 1,000,000 is the maximum time out can be set. Is there any possible method to achieve this? I found this topic,Default Auto Wait time out can be set max to 1000000msbut I will get the error: Cannot obtain the window with the window class <....>. See Details for additional information. Details: The window with the specified attributes does not exist. The TestComplete will not enter the while loop since it cant find the object yet, because I'm still waiting for it and that's the purpose why I'm using time out. var LoopCount = 0 while (!Object.Exists) and (LoopCount < 30) do { Delay(60000); LoopCount++; } SolvedHow to modularize execution plan in TestComplete? Hi all, I'm trying to simplify the execution plan in TestComplete. For example: - I have a customer list which will keep adding new customer. - I want to transfer different amount of money to different customers. Based on the above settings, I want to transfer $100, $200, and $400 for Customer A, C, and D. The sequence will be: 1. Run for Money Group $100 for Customer A then C then D. 2. Run for Money Group $200 for Customer A then C then D. 3. No run for Money Group $300for all the customers (A, B, C, D). 4. Run for Money Group $400 for Customer A then C then D. So, the issue is, it could be troublesome when the number of customer keep increasing and I have to manually add the customer into each of the Money Group. Can the execution plan be simplified similar to the settings illustrated as below? The idea is to separate out the customers as a new group (named as Customers) to allow the Money Group called it as some kind of function. Also, it can be enable/disable the Money Group and Customer Group individually. Thanks. Re: Access Violation When Using Microsoft Application Verifier With TestComplete Hi Marsha_R, The purpose to run the tested application using Application Verifier and WinDbg is to trace events and exceptions of the application while TC is running the test projects. As far as I know, TC has a plugin called DbgServices which also can be used to traceevents and exception. Based on the documentation, it's very hard to compare the DbgServices with Application Verifier + WinDbg as we can't do any setup or changes to enable/disable what we desire to trace. In Application Verifier and WinDbg, we can setup the tests and event filters based on our own severity.
