Can I control which tests are logged?
I have my Keyword Tests organized in the Execution Plan. Most of these Keyword Tests are setup operations, and not "tests" to be validated. Currently, Test Complete logs every Keyword Test as a separate "test", with it's own pass/fail result. This is not very helpful, as I only want to know if SOME of my ?Keyword Tests pass or fail. Is there any way to specify which individual tests or steps within a test will result in a pass/fail result in the log? Thank You!Solved204Views0likes4CommentsExport Message Logs to Excel?
I want to run a project made up of KTs. Some of these KTs will log a value to a Message Log. I would like to export ONLY the contents of the Message Logs in a format that Excel can use. I've been trying to write all the Message Logs to one location using Append Log Folder, but I can't get this to work. Is this even the right aproach? (Sorry if this seems like a basic question, but I've been scouring the online docs and contacting tech support for a couple days now and I'm not making much headway.) I have a Keyword test with an On-Screen Action WaitProperty with a WaitTime value set. On playback, TestComplete never uses this value. Instead, it always uses the Auto-Wait Timeout value. There must be a way to use theWaitProperty value, right? Anybody know how to do this? Thanks!1.2KViews0likes3Comments
