Re: TestComplete v.12.5 with Powerbuilder
Hi there, Strange but true... After a few years with TC/Smartbear our managment has decided to switch to a competitor because of the lack of Powerbuilder support. And I'm afraid to say the competitor supports Powerbuilder much better than TC. I tried it for two weeks and everything I wanted to automated (tables too) worked out of the box. Unfortunately the handling and development support (no debugging, almost no refactoring functions) of the competitor is much worse but what counts is the Powerbuilder support. Thanks to the community for their support and hey, may be we will see us in the future again :-). Bye1.1KViews0likes1CommentTestComplete v.12.5 with Powerbuilder
Hi there Since two month I'm facing object recognizing problems with TC v.12.5 and our Powerbuilder object in test. These issues could reproduce by Smartbear support. Up to now I'm afraid they can't fix the problem and tell me how long it will take. They only told me to stay with TC v.12.42 so far. Has anybody else also object recognizing problems with Powerbuilder and TC v.12.5 (Object Spy and during play back)? Thanks.1.2KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Firefox 58 tests on a remote computer

Would be great if this also were listed on https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/app-testing/web/general/preparing-browsers/firefox.html#Settings Thanks a lot !2.4KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Firefox 58 tests on a remote computer
I opened a support ticket and they mentioned the FF patches on https://support.smartbear.com/downloads/testcomplete/firefox-patches/ I don't know if they are the same like the regular ones provided by the internal update function of TC and TE but they did not work either.2.4KViews0likes0CommentsFirefox 58 tests on a remote computer
Hi there Is there anybody out there which also have the following error during tests with Firefox 58 on a remote computer (the same on Windows 10 and Windows 7)? PS: InternetExplorer, Chrome, Firefox < v.58 and even Edge works but not FF 58. We are get access to the remote computers with TeamViewer. I had to switch back to FF57.0.4 ... The operation cannot be performed, because the desktop is invisible. Possible cause: * The test is run on a computer that is controlled via Remote Desktop, and the Remote Desktop window was minimized on the controlling computer. As a result, the controlled computer's GUI became unavailable and GUI actions cannot be performed. Possible solutions: * Do not minimize the Remote Desktop window on the controlling computer during the test run. * Modify the Remote Desktop settings on the controlling computer so that minimizing the Remote Desktop window does not affect the GUI availability on the controlled computer. In cooperation with SmartBear the problem could be solved. In all projects I use, I have process filters defined. By any circumstances the filter has to be changed from Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge to MicrosoftEdge. :-)4.4KViews3likes0Comments
