Re: Issues with dropdowns and ClickItem() not working if the dropdown opens in the up direction
We are doing scripting for web application on TestComplete 14.93.312.7, we are unable to use ClickItem() of dropdown fields. It had been working till 1st Qtr of 2023, I guess some windows patch broke it. IS there any chance to get that issue fixed?381Views0likes1CommentUnable to connect TestComplete 12.0 due to Azure DevOps will stop accepting TLS 1.0/1.1 connections
Hey Everyone We are using Test Complete 12.60 and Today we are unable to connect VSTS project and After doing some analysis we found that Test Complete uses TLS 1.0 Azure DevOps will stop accepting TLS 1.0/1.1 connections from Jan 31st, 2022. Please checkour blog postfor more details. Could help us how to solve this problem. Here is the recorded script Aliases.App.MessageBoxDialog.MessageBoxControl.Click(104, 88); you said Keys("[Enter]") is proper solution, I'm worried about a dialog if there would be Yes/No/Cancel option then how will I perform the action?2.6KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Unable to get access on Infragistics.Win.UltraMessageBox.MessageBoxDialog buttons.
I'm using TestComplete 12.6 version My problem is Test Complete does not recognizing the button ofInfragistics.Win.UltraMessageBox.MessageBoxDialog. It also does not provide method to click on specific button. I have attached two more images of Infragistics.Win.UltraMessageBox where you can see its properties and Methods. I have using MessageBoxControl.Keys("[Enter]") to get rid of the message box which is the workarround but not the proper solution.2.6KViews0likes5CommentsUnable to get access on Infragistics.Win.UltraMessageBox.MessageBoxDialog buttons.

I have attached the image of message box and its ClrFullClassName. here is the another question post on Stackoverflow and I'm struggling with same problem. In many cases I find it redundant to write a script for each little test case. How can I use Microsoft VS to write a script that can test more than one test case and report the result to each associated test case in Microsoft MTM without running each test cases separately. Say, for example, I have a yes/No/Cancel dialog that pops up and there is a test case to verify for each of the three cases. All three cases can be verified in one script. Would it be possible to associate each test case to the same script and get the results reported to each one by running the script only once? https://stackoverflow.com/questions/27649717/how-to-cover-multiple-test-cases-in-one-automation-script782Views0likes1CommentRe: Associate TestComplete File with Multiple Test Cases.
Iassumed that is the case"The tc12Test file is the mapping of the TestComplete project item(s) to the Test case..." but sometimes only one script covers multiple test cases, e.g I have to test some screen with valid and invalid test data, assume script has a loop and data source is excel file. Suppose we have two or three test cases for validating the screen. If script run is successful for all valid and invalid data, I'd like to mark all my two or three test cases passed in Test Plan. It means this scenario could not possible. Please correct me. I think there must be some workaround to mark multiple test cases passed by single tc12Test file.1.8KViews0likes1Comment
