which browsers are supported at the time.
Hi, I found this page http://smartbear.com/products/qa-tools/automated-testing-tools/testcomplete-specifications/testcomplete-supported-integrations and concluded that I can test my software under test (an add on) in firefox 10. However, even the process action "ToUrl" does not function. Was it a false conclusion? Where can I find a correct list of browsers I can test with Test Complete 8.70.727.7? Hi, I am using VB for Test Complete and have a while loop from which I want to exit in case an if case happens. I can not find out what I should use in this case. Exit While or Break do not work and somehow I find in Help of Test Complete just some declaration how break functions without writing in which language. Maybe I am using help not in a correct way. Please help me. Thank you in advance24KViews0likes1CommentOpening a new tab in browser

Hi, I should test Chrome and some other browsers which are not supported by Test Complete 8.6. Therefore, I want to run Sikuli-IDE.exe (Sikuli X) in TestComplete as a testedApp as a step in my test complete keyword test. However, Test complete does not wait till the Sikuli Script runs completely and run the next step of the test. Sikuli script runs also in background. How can I make Test complete wait for sikuli script to complete? Thank you in advance11KViews0likes1CommentRe: Internet explorer runned by test complete lets an addon dialog not appear.
Hi Allen, thank you very much for your answer. I was trying to reproduce the situation using your guide. To my astonishment, I could solve the problem: I found out that the WinSCP connection I used during my test saves a log file in my C drive named "program". I redirected this log file to another directory and !!the problem with IE and Add on got solved. However, thank you very much for your answer which helped me reduce the problem to find the point the add on vanished. Hi all, I have installed an add on which lets a dialog appear whenever a browser window is opened (I should test this addon). When I install the add on and open firefox (version3) or internet explorer (version8 and 9) manually, the dialog widow appears. Whenever I start FF or IE with test complete (within a keyword test with Run TestedApp), the next time I start IE manually or with Run TestedApp through Testcomplete, the dialog does not appear. Does anyone have an idea if it has to do with the internet explorer version ? or any other idea? Hi, trying to solve the possible scope problem, I defined a variable in my keywordtest as: strSPArray (for the type, I found Object type nearest to an array of objects, although I am not sure at all) I changed the Sub populatestrSPArray: Sub populatestrSPArray(i, h) j = aqConvert.StrToInt(i) Set testObj = ODT.Classes.New("SDP") testObj.hh = h testObj.cuts = Project.Variables.clientTimeStamp Set strSPArray(j) = testObj End Sub I also wanted to add the line Redim KeywordTests.refEnvUsageTestFF.Variables.strSPArray(8) but the syntax is not correct (shown to be red in script by TestComplete) Now I call just the Sub populatestrSPArray in my test. An Exception occurs again: (translated:) Run time exception. The types are not compatible: strSPArray Does anyone have an idea? Why can a Keywordtest variable not redim(med) in script? Hi, Thank you for your reply. In Project Explorer, I chose ODT->CLASSES and defined a class SDP with properties hh and cuts (I found no way to define the types.) Afterwards, I wrote these two Subs: Sub createSPArray() Dim strSPArray Redim strSPArray(8) End Sub Sub populatestrSPArray(i, h) j = aqConvert.StrToInt(i) Set testObj = ODT.Classes.New("SDP") testObj.hh = h testObj.cuts = Project.Variables.clientTimeStamp Set strSPArray(j) = testObj End Sub In my keyword test, I call these Subs. However, at the line: Set strSPArray(j) = testObj I become an exception: Laufzeitfehler in Microsoft VBScript Typen unverträglich: 'strSPArray'Laufzeitfehler in Microsoft VBScript Typen unverträglich: 'strSPArray' Does anyone have an idea? Hi all, I try to create an array of fixed size (for example 8) where each member is an object which has 4 string members. I would like to do it with VB scripting. The next question would be how to access for example the third member (let us name it urlStr) of the 2nd object in the array. Hi Helen, Thank you very much for your help. Once, the VM windows time showsed 10:48 and I ran your solution like this: Set dtUTC = GetObject("winmgmts:\\.\root\cimv2:Win32_UTCTime=@") dt = aqDateTime. SetDateTimeElements(dtUTC. Year, dtUTC.Month, dtUTC.Day, dtUTC.Hour, dtUTC.Minute, dtUTC.Second) curTimeStr = aqConvert.DateTimeToStr(dt) Log.Message("current time is " & curTimeStr) unixTime = DateDiff("s", "01/01/1970 00:00:00", dt) Log.Message("unix time is " & unixTime) in Log I see: current time is 04.10.2011 08:48:37 unix time is 1317718117 As I checked the unix time 1317718117 , it relates to the date Tue Oct 04 10:48:37 2011 I am confused. It would be very kind if you or another member can help. Thank you in advance Nassim2.2KViews0likes0Comments
