Hi Allen,
thank you very much for your answer. I was trying to reproduce the situation using your guide. To my astonishment, I could solve the problem:
I found out that the WinSCP connection I used during my test saves a log file in my C drive named "program". I redirected this log file to another directory and !!the problem with IE and Add on got solved.
However, thank you very much for your answer which helped me reduce the problem to find the point the add on vanished.
