Having problem using the text of the html element to grep on in an EvaluateXPath. I have tried the following (and they work in Chrome Developer Tools): //*[text()='Text'] //*[contains(.,'Text')] //*[.='Text'] //*[text()[contains(.,'Text')]] How should the xPath be written to work in TC?Solved28KViews0likes7CommentsTestExecute options
Is there any way of changing the "behaviour" of TestExecute? We want to: Change the exit code to only 0/1 (0 the test ran (could have errors in log) / 1 the test failed (unable to run test) Change the setting (via .ini or regestry) for "Activate after test run"21KViews0likes1CommentBug: Optional parameters in Log.
There seems to be a bug in the Log. functions The "Optional" Parameters isn't optional! function WarningExample() { // Specifies a short description of a warning var Str = "One instance of the application has already been launched."; // Specifies extended text for the warning var ExtStr = "One instance of NOTEPAD.EXE has already been launched on the machine."; // Specifies a priority for the warning var Prior = pmHigher; //... // Specifies the path to an image var sImgPath = "C:\\Work\\MyImj.jpg"; // Posts the warning message to the test log Log.Warning(Str, ExtStr, Prior, , sImgPath); }21KViews0likes6CommentsRe: Calling Scripts Located on a Web Page From TestComplete Scripts for firefox
OK - besides that TC can't call javascript in IE an documents that areopened in Document Mode: IE9 We still having problem with calling javascripts in FF. I think TC aren't able to take a function as a parameter. This is crucial for us since we are using an ajax framework with callback functions. We are getting: Microsoft JScript runtime error Invalid procedure call or argument When calling a function like: var pageFF = Sys.Process("firefox").Page("*"); Script = pageFF.contentDocument.Script Item = Script.JSFunction("param1", function() {}); The same function call works in IE515Views0likes0Comments
