Changing the log item name using script.
Hi, Changing the names of log items from the execution plan is possible, however requires manual intervention. Is it possible to add the feature so that it can also be done using scripts. For Example: "Test 4/24/2022 0:00:00 AM" possibly be replaced as "Test_Build0.00_Version0.00_4/24/2022 0:00:00 AM" using scripts for identification purpose. Thanks in advance. Adding comments inside Project Explorer in TestComplete
Hi SmartBear Community, I was just checking the possibility to add any descriptive text under either the Project_Suite or Project or the Test_Cases using scripts, however did not find any related articles or solution. One picture has been attached with the location where I intend to add the texts FYI. Any suggestion/ idea will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Changing the name of the test log items using scripts..
Hi All, I have been trying to create a consistency with the test log names in one of my project in testcomplete, where I want the test log items to have a similar name or possibly have something in common amongst the test log items (i.e. project name, project number) for identification purpose. I have tried changing the names from the execution plan manually and it worked but my question is whether it is possible to change it using the scripts so that for every set of functions in the execution plan, the names are being changed automatically without manual intervention.
