Can you increment results within a for loop?
Is there a way to add results in a for loop, while retaining the previous result so I can verify the entire list as items are added?Macys My Insite var listArray = new Array(); listArray[0] = item1 = "100??"; listArray[1] = item2 = "20*0*"; listArray[2] = item3 = "x26*s"; for(i = 0; i < listArray.length; i++) { _M.Btn(_filter, "Add").ClickButton(); Log.Message(item[i]); } As the loop continues, I want the Log.Message to add each array item, while retaining the previous array item: Log.Message(item[i] + "," + item[i] + "," + item[i]);448Views0likes2CommentsCross browser tool is having slowness issue
I am using test complete as a automation development tool and I need to execute the code in the cross browser tool (CBT). I am experiencing a significant slowness in CBT execution. Test Visualizer takes screenshots of user actions during test recording and playback. These images (or frames) help you better understand what test commands do and find the differences between the expected and observed behavior and state of the tested application. This is commonly used for generating a string of data that contains a Name and Address for instance. Although you could use this to generate values used in variables in the wait methods. I am writing a test which accesses a JTree via test complete and C#. I have attached an image. Unfortunately, for company confidentiality I had to black out some of the text. But it is basically the following:FMC 4 ME Routing Rules Level 2 branches level 3 selections I get the JTree into a C# var (call it "tree"). I can easily expand and collapse by doing tree["DblClickItem"]("Routing Rules"); // expand/collapse top branch tree["DblClickItem"]("Routing Rules|Level 2 branches"); // expand/collapse second-level tree["ClickItem"]("Routing Rules|Level 2 branches|level 3 selections") // select item that works fine. But when I try to determine whether something is expanded or not, like this var expanded = tree["wExpanded"]("Routing Rules"); this gives an exception _innerException {"Unable to find the object wExpanded(\"Routing Rules\"). See Details for additional information.\r\n<html><body><p>The object with the specified attributes does not exist.</p><p style=\"margin-top: 12px;\"><a href=\"aqa-help://2202\">Possible causes of the error</a></p></body></html>"} System.Exception {System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException} this appears to be how this web site says to do it: https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/app-objects/specific-tasks/standard/tree-view/checking-item-state.html#Expanded Am I doing something wrong? Or can I not assign the value to a "var" and must use it in an if() statement?577Views0likes1Comment
