Unexpected behavior of Test Complete
Hi,
While using Test complete, i came under an unexpected behavior of test complete. My application is using Component Art and Telerik controls. While recoding long scenarios it do not recognize every control, miss some of the steps/data.
If I break the full scenario into small steps and record each >> merge the scripts. It WORKS !! Is there anything to do with third party controls or anything?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Mayank Panwar

Hi,
Can you create a sample test for us? Create a project suite and record two tests there in the two ways you described:
1. A 'long' test with which the problem occurs.
2. A series of 'short' tests with which recording works.
After that, zip the entire project suite directory and send it to us.
Also, with what exact controls does the problem occur? Can you tell us their names and versions?
