Hi Guys ,

We have a Desktop QT application whose frontend is coded in AngularJS.

Using Test complete 14 I am unable to identify any objects. Can someone please help me out.

  • Hi ashishnagpal26

    I hope you are keeping well.

    TestComplete supports applications that use Qt library ver. 5 and 6 and that were created with Microsoft® C/C++ Optimizing Compiler and supports the following List of Qt Controls

    As per the following documentation on Viewing Object Properties and Methods;

    To see what operations (methods) are available for objects in your tested Qt application, as well as the object properties and their values, you can use the Object Browser or Object Spy. The available properties and methods include those provided by TestComplete, as well as native object properties and methods defined by the developers in the application’s source code.

    Are you able to share what you see under the object spy / object browser?

    Please let me know if this helps with your query or if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Shane
