Testcomplete hangs after renaming testitems .

1.Create new test item under the Script .

2. Import some functions

3. Rename the test items created in Step 1

 

Got the error 

List index out of bounds (4). If we tried to close the pop up window showing this error then the pop come again. SO there is no way to close the window successfully. Due to which we cannot close the TestComplete.

 

The last thing we have to Kill the TestComplete process.

    Hi nisgupta , I think tristaanogre is right and contacting TestComplete Support is the best way to approach this.

     

    You can also collect reports about the hanging for our Support Team using the Report Generator tool.

    Having the reports at hand should make the investigation much more efficient. Also, we will greatly appreciate if you share the results of the investigation with us! Thank you.

    Version of TC?

     

    Also, these kinds of errors are probably better addressed by the specific SmartBear support.  I doubt that, with the nature of the error, there's anything that the user-base of the forums can address.
