According to https://support.smartbear.com/downloads/testcomplete/chrome-patches/, there is currently no documented support for Chrome 67.
A good rule of thumb is to turn off auto-updates for FireFox and Chrome to prevent this problem. That way you can make sure a patch is available before you attempt to use TestComplete with it.

Why automate? I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy. Sleep is a requirement. So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.
