Save log automatically when executing Test in TestComplete through TestExecute
Background: After executing test in Test Complete through Test Execute, Confirm dialog of Test Execute comes up to save the changes in mds file. So basically this confirm dialog comes up to save log file generated after execution of test
My requirement is not to get the confirm dialog after execution.
1 One way is running Test Excute in /SilentMode but what other pop ups will be disabled?(I am apprehensive about this option because i don't want to disable valid related error pop up)
2 Can anyone tell how to automatically save the log file so that confirmation message didn't come up.
3 Or How to Access TestExecute Objects in TestComplete so that through automation i can automatically click yes in confirm button?
4 Or any way to select default option yes in the confirm dialog?

Hey ,
Thank you you so much for explaining it so well.
I have alternative to do use Keyword test and click yes on confirm dialog.
But if i can access TestExecute object i python or vbscript it would be helpful for me for trying to close it via keyword test.

Could you describe your infrastructure? On what machine(s) you are starting TestComplete/TestExecute, where test suite is located, are you using the same test suite via network share or standalone copies of it, anything alse that might matter.

So I have 1 project suite and within in few project. Within project we have our test cases which we are adding at project level to run
I am running all test cases using command line. Where I create a batch file with test execute command and give location of our test. And we run that batch file. So basically we are using test execute to run the test cases.

Hi,
So, the project suite is located on the network share and is opened concurrently in TestComplete and TestExecute at the same time. Is this correct?
