I am using TestComplete on WebApp include flash!
and receive this message all the time.
looking for debug version? why?
I have flash installed on my machine - see the attachment.

Because Flash is horrible closed eco-system.
As a general rule, automation tools need to be using a debug version of it to do anything much beyond co-ordinate based clicking.

(And I'm not sure .... but I have a feeling the debug version/engine isn't free?)

That's handy to know. I have a few sites I run scripts on outside work which are Flash based. I may have a look into this!
