Licensing issue

Question

hi, i have TestComplete 9 reinstalled here. But when I try to activate it again, it doesn't accept my license key anymore. I've read that once you uninstall the software, it will give you a new license key but I didn't receive any. Help please?

Hi,The correct way for TestComplete9 is to deactivate the license on the user's portal (https://my.smartbear.com/login.asp), uninstall TestComplete, reinstall it and activate a-new. This is described in the Licensing Guide (http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/33802/).I think that the best way for now is to contact Sales (http://support.smartbear.com/message/?prod=TestComplete) and ask them for the assistance.

hi thanks for the reply. I got the new license now. However, the "Entry Point Not Found" error in msvcrt.dll is still appearing. I found the net says reinstalling the software will solve this issue. Thanks
