In which files are project variables stored?
I have suddenly lost all the project persistent variable and cannot see them /use them any more, I wan to know in which files they are stored? Does any one know?

If they are project level variables, double-click the Project name in Project Explorer, then click the Variables tab.

Definition of Project Variables is stored in the project .mds file.
