Hi,
Not sure if this can be turned off as this is a kind of "evaluate on the fly" functionality of debugger.
Though I agree that it slows down your work sometimes and requires you to be careful with the location of the mouse pointer and mouse movements during debug session.

Sometimes when we try to double click in an variable for adding that into Watch List, this is getting triggered
