Firefox Browser Not Supported

Hi all

 

We have upgraded our firefox browser to latest version (108.0.2). TestComplete is updated to latest version too (15.47.4.7).

 

Unfortunately, every time I run a test I get the message that 'Firefix version is not supported'. I am not sure if we'll have to reconfigure firefox (see below link) again ? If not, can someone please advise what can be the possible cause of this and how do we sort this out ?

It is possible that you may need to reconfigure. Have you verified that your current browser settings match the TC recommended settings?

 

Technically you are running an unsupported version of FireFox, so this might be a case of you needing to downgrade FireFox or run on a Chromium based browser - whose latest versions are also technically unsupported, but they have the TC web extension to help with browser object recognition.

Hi

Yes, firefox is reconfigured now but still it says the version is not supported.

 

Our current version of firefox is 108.0.2 and TestComplete is 15.47.4.7. Now the link below says that TC 15.47 has support for firefox version 107 & 108 so I am unable to understand why does it say the version is not supported. Any thoughts ?

Can you downgrade Firefox to version exactly 108.0 and check if it is supported by TC ?

If it is supported, then I would say that version 108.0.2 is not supported because it is more recent than just 108.0.
