Difficulty Accessing License Server from a VM
Some of our VMs have trouble launching TestComplete. It can't seem to find the license server. After trying several times (2-5 tries), the license server is eventually found and TC opens. Any suggestions on how to possibly remove this annoyance?
Is this in relation to a distributed test or just running TestComplete on a VM? Have a look at https://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/76833/ and if that doesn't help verify that the connectivity to the license manager and all relevant ports are opened. Is the license manager also on a virtual server as well

Server discovery happens on the local subnet by default but can be expanded by adding entries in the Remote License Search Parameters box (http://localhost:1947/_int_/config_to.html ) in the license service's Admin Control Center on the client.
